The Treasure Coast spans the east coast of Florida roughly from Jupiter to Vero Beach. It derives it's name from a Spanish treasure fleet that was lost during a hurricane in 1715. Their are a lot of great windsurfing spots on the Treasure Coast but this blog focuses mainly on the Indian River from Stuart to Jensen Beach.

I was able to go sailing today. I met up with Ron at the Jupiter inlet. It was mostly cloudy and the wind was out of the north. I rigged a 6.0 on my 92L synchro and had a good time. We launched on the south side of the inlet close to the jetty and it was easy getting out. When I was bringing my gear in Dino showed up and he did some sailing with Ron.

Cool. How does Jupiter Inlet compare in difficulty to Fort Pierce inlet? What kind of 6.0 are you using these days?
The jetty is not near as big as Ft Pierce, so the area of flat water is smaller. I need more experience at both places to give an honest evaluation. I have an Ezzy wave SE and I was pretty well powered that day. I work in Jupiter now so if the conditions are right I will try to sail the inlet, I prefer Ft Pierce though. I liked your post on "onshore, offshore, sideshore, etc". It helps me get things sorted out.
