The Treasure Coast spans the east coast of Florida roughly from Jupiter to Vero Beach. It derives it's name from a Spanish treasure fleet that was lost during a hurricane in 1715. Their are a lot of great windsurfing spots on the Treasure Coast but this blog focuses mainly on the Indian River from Stuart to Jensen Beach.

Yesterday a front was slowly moving down the state. early in the morning it was blowing SW and clocked around to the North late in the day. When I showed up James was packing up and the parking lot was deserted except for a few fisherman. Their was heavy cloud cover and the wind was really filled in. I rigged a 7.0 and was nicely powered. I had the whole river to myself and didn't see a single boat. Jibing was nice on the west side up near that catamaran and on the east side once you got into the flatter water the wind was a bit lite. All in all it was a decent sail.
