The Treasure Coast spans the east coast of Florida roughly from Jupiter to Vero Beach. It derives it's name from a Spanish treasure fleet that was lost during a hurricane in 1715. Their are a lot of great windsurfing spots on the Treasure Coast but this blog focuses mainly on the Indian River from Stuart to Jensen Beach.

weak front pushes through
By the time I got to the causeway on friday the wind had backed down. Earlier in the day Dino said everyone was on 6.0's - 7.0's. I rigged a 10.5 on the formula board and headed south. After getting my sail dialed in I went under the bridge and made some runs up to Joes point. It was a beautiful evening, partly cloudy and very little boat traffic. I sailed till sunset and even then some gusts were coming through.
