The Treasure Coast spans the east coast of Florida roughly from Jupiter to Vero Beach. It derives it's name from a Spanish treasure fleet that was lost during a hurricane in 1715. Their are a lot of great windsurfing spots on the Treasure Coast but this blog focuses mainly on the Indian River from Stuart to Jensen Beach.

The front blew in today but the wind was less than expected. When I got to the causeway Greg was already out on a 7.5 so I rigged a 7.0 on my 118L board. The wind was coming straight down the river and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I was out an hour and during that time about 6 kite boarders showed up. When I got back to the island Jerry, Dick, Jack, and Marion had showed up. I met David from Hobe Sound, who is learning to windsurf, and his father. While talking to everyone the kite boarders started coming in and the wind was backing down. About this time David and Mathew showed up.

All that technical info you provide (sail and board size) remains rather subjective. I need to know your personal stats in order to glean any info about it.
